I recently had an interesting revelation. I see myself — that is, the center of me — existing in my head, with my body sitting below. Someone else sees the chest area approximately, as the center of the self, with the head above the self-center. I had assumed everyone saw themselves the same way. And now that this has been revealed to me, I find myself questioning whether I really feel myself centered in the head, with a body dangling below me; whether I'm centered somewhere in the chest area, although my sight is still above me in my head, with head and limbs radiating out from center; or whether I feel a combination of both.

I live behind my eyes.

It really varies.
Sometimes I feel centered "in my head" (more specifically, between my eyes).
Sometimes my diaphragm.
Occassionally my pelvis.
Sometimes about three feet above and a foot behind my head.
Sometimes diffusely through my chest.

she's a blue glowing form (mostly human-shaped but I think that's just my interpretation of myself) and she usually sits on a glass plate in my head. sometimes she's standing up. sometimes she's lounging. sometimes the glass forms a sphere around her; when I first met her, the glass was a darkened sphere. It took a few months to bring down those walls and get to know her.

was that useful? either way, she's in my head.

It used to be very definitely in my solar plexus, and I visualised it as a blue flame. Haven't thought about it in a long time, but it feels a lot less localised now. Fascinating question -- never occurred to me that it would differ that much among people.

Hey dpolicar, do you suppose this has any bearing on the beach ball thing?

Sure... it's a variation on the same question, I think. Though I fail to deduce anything useful from the relations.

It might be another tool for influencing the beach ball -- picturing your self in a different place.

Ah, I see... moving your center as well as your boundaries. Yeah, that could work.
