Goodness! Another lj friend posted a picture of cars up to their windshields in it in Salem. I hope Marblehead escaped most of it (there aren't any rivers there).

On another note, some items you might bring back that would make us happy are: (1) a bottle of Grandma's Molasses (the darkest you can get) and a few cans of brown bread. Being in New England, those should be easily obtainable. I'm baking beans today and realised that those two items were sadly lacking in Merrie Olde Englande. If you can't get them at such short notice, no probs. Hope you aren't flooded out. We could use the water here, though.

Yeah. I'm afraid my Mom's basement is probably not it very good condition (the house was basically built on a swamp), but I'm afraid to call her and hear the bad news.

I picked a good time to go down to Atlanta and kick back in sunny days in the 70s/80s...
