Dilemma

I want to go for a run. But it's 2:20 a.m. and the sidewalks are icy.

So, I want to read. But I'm really restless and full of energy, which is why I want to go run.

Restless in ...
Do push-ups and sit-ups.

I do those regularly anyway -- pushups, crunches, side crunches, leg lifts.... It just doesn't burn energy the same way, though. If I had a rope and no downstairs neighbors, I might skip rope.

Those little mini-trampolines are compact but allow you to run in place or do jumping without disturbing those below, although I'm doubtful you'd be able to jump rope on one. However, my remark was meant to be cute ... I just forgot to add a smiley.

Those mini-tramplines are great for exercise and, yes, you can use them to skip rope. I won't buy one before I move for England, though.

Speaking of England, how long (give wild-ass guess) do you expect to stay?

In England? Say a year or two until Guildhall accepts me, and then 2 years for the Masters at Guildhall. Whether I stay beyond that for further studies/work, I can't predict.

That is roughly what I expected.
