this post, right now I'm leaning towards Appetite for Destruction, Automatic for the People, and the second Heart Greatest Hits album. It's hard, though, to leave off the Benatar, the Prince, the other Heart Greatest Hits, the Marley, the Jimmy Cliff (which nobody mentioned), and the Sade. Of course, if I could sucker someone into doing the 12-for-the-price-of-1 deal through me, I could get another 5 free CDs, which would help make my decision just a little easier. ;)

I had the exact same conversation while waiting for him to take the stage
according to his official web site (http://www.jimmycliffonline.com/) he was born April 1st 1948... which would make him nearly 57.
close to 60... but not quite there... I was surprised too.
I can only assume he was very young when he started his career... not that weird for a kid from Jamaica. apparently he moved to kingston at the age of 14 to pursue his career.
57 or not... heck of a lot of energy. Great showman.
