I loved the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide. It was definitely laugh-worthy.

I finished Fear of Flying in one night but, then again, I'm female and I read it when I was an 18yo virgin. I'm guessing you read it when you were either a)older b)more experienced or c)male. I could be wrong.

I read it in college or shortly thereafter. I was either a virgin (if read before 2nd semester sophomore year) or somewhat inexperienced. You're right that I'm male, though. ;) However, I've loved The Awakening and a number of other books about sexual whatever-you-want-to-call-it written by women. I simply found Jong tedious and not at all interesting.
