At rugby practice on Tuesday we had a discussion about geography.
Jake: So, what's the difference between Great Britain and the United Kingdom?
Me: The spelling.
Scott: Yeah, one is two words and the other is one.

(Yes, we love to pick on Scott, our team MVP but not exactly the brightest bulb in the lamp!)
Speaking of rugby, I found out at Wednesday's MWoW rehearsal that one of the characters excised from the play in our production is Rugby. Ah, for shame!

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is where I live, and includes all of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The British Isles include all of the UK plus the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands.
